AHHH wtff.
yesterday was like such a nice day to post about
and i was like in no mood to post =.=

okay anyway
the postman delivered smth today.
or rather just now.
smth rather IMPORTANT.
yepp :]]
my piano results.
cause my teacher said that it will most probably come today
and well, it did luh.
and if you passed it
they will automatically send you the certs.

so when the postman came,
i took the envelope away from my dad
YES HAHA IT WAS LIKE A LARGE ENVELOPE.
so i knew that AT LEAST 1 of us passed
i mean my sister and me la.
so i ripped off the top
and took out the pieces of paper.
and there it was - the certs.
HAHA AND THERE WERE 2 OF THEM!!
oh so okay i passed lol.
by 10 marks =.=
my sister passed by 2 marks.
grade 8. DAMN DAMN LUCKY.
the examiner wrote smth like
"you just managed to pass."in her remarks lol.
okay so it was rather a miracle to me.
the fact that i passed this exam.
thought was going to fail T-T

i dunno why lah.
jus feel like posting what my examiner wrote

A1 22/30(20)
The hands were nicely balanced and there was some contrast in the dynamics. However, the tempo was a little unsteady at times, and there was a memory lapse in the 2nd half, together with a few slips.

B5 23/30(20)
There was a lift to this dance although phrasing could be more shapely and the rubato more persuasive. Pedalling was usually secure, but thick in longer lines so it has more of a sweep to the phrasing.

C4 23/30(20)
It was accurate and with most of the detail in place. However, a quicker tempo would heighten the fun, and bolder dynamics create greater sense of surprise for this Jack in a Box.

Scales and Arpeggios 16/21(14)
Mostly correct-a few mistakes in scales; aim for a smoother flow in legato ones. Arpeggios just had a slip or two.

Sight Reading 17/21(14)
Quite a good attempt-a few hesitations, but notes were mostly correct.

Aural Tests 9/18(12)
Most of B correct, but you found much of this difficult. Little else was accurate.
